Lanyard Rental services
U of T is located at the heart of one of the world’s most diverse and innovative cities and is a critical part of the Toronto-Waterloo Corridor, which has a higher concentration of startups than anywhere else on the planet besides Silicon Valley. The university has numerous partnerships with key industry players and world-class hospitals. It also has a global alumni network that spans most countries and territories. With this concentration of innovation and industry at their doorstep, U of T entrepreneurs can easily make the connections they need to unlock the full potential of their transformative ideas and products.

Lanyard Rental services
The Lanyard Rental Program is run in partnership with U of T’s Sustainability Office and promotes the reuse of lanyards at events on campus.
Lanyards can be rented for $0.25/each and can accommodate a 4” x 3” badge. Requests must be made 10 business days in advance of the event, and lanyards must be picked up and dropped off at the confirmed date and time.
Lanyards can be picked up at the Campus Events & Conference Services office, located on the 4th floor of the McMurrich Building at 12 Queen’s Park Crescent West between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Lanyards must be returned in the provided container with the name tag cards removed from their plastic holders and tied in bundles of 10. The reserving organization or department is responsible for returning all requested lanyards free of damage. While we understand lanyards and kits may become lost or damaged, this will result in a $1/lanyard kit upon return to the Campus Events office.
Organizers can hire Ambassadors to support a variety of event services, such as stuffing name badges, onsite registration, collecting lanyards from guests, and promoting waste sorting practices to attending guests. Visit our website(link) to learn more about our Ambassador program.
Your efforts are essential in eliminating landfill waste and promoting the production of sustainable services at the University of Toronto.
